Well, they didn't really have their first fight during the wedding, as far as we know, but Jake did have to fight to the death to get his new wife back, as she was kidnapped during cocktail hour. Jake was near defeat in the brutal fight, on his knees, and without his weapon, when Jocelyn came to the rescue, knocking out the enemy with a surprise blow from behind.
